I think maintaining a spiritual life is not so easy. Maybe on a more spiritual day I'd say it's so easy, but today I feel like I just get met witI love living in a world of technology. I love that my friends are instantly available to me at every turn. Just on my phone I get my personal e-mail and both work e-mails as well as various internet updates and twitters. It's a little ridiculous.

I think the world is moving to a place where delayed gratification will be completely unacceptable. We want it now and we want it delivered.

It's a problem. So much of scripture is centered around waiting. Being patient (yikes). And not having to see the end result to trust that the present circumstance is part of his plan.

food for thought
