Do not pass go do not collect $200.00 Mr. Madoff. HORRIBLE. The one thing that he said today though that I thought was significantly convicting was this, "I only meant to do it for a short time but I couldn't stop." Oh sin will get us won't it? Satan promises it will be short term and Jesus promises our sins will be brought to the light. I'm reminded today to pray that even seemingly small sins or injustices would be kept from my life and to live in the light. I'm sure at the start of this unfortunate fiasco Mr. Madoff did not see this as the end result. Lord, save us from ourselves!
